Fibers for rods

Toray Carbon Fibers Europe has developed a wide range of pultrusion resins that are perfectly compatible with Torayca® carbon fibers: Epoxy, Polyester, Vinylester, Polyurethane. These resins are functionalised to meet specific requirements such as appearance, colour, electrical properties, impact resistance, fire resistance, temperature resistance and bio-compatibility.

Resins for rods

Toray Carbon Fibers Europe a développé une large gamme de résines de pultrusion parfaitement compatibles avec les fibres de carbone Torayca® :. Epoxy, Polyester, Vinylester, Polyuréthane. Ces résines sont fonctionnalisées pour satisfaire différentes exigences spécifiques telles que l’aspect, la couleur, les propriétés électriques, la tenue aux chocs, la résistance au feu, la tenue en température, la bio-compatibilité.

For sealing applications, two surface treatments are available:

S TYPE RODS

S rods are designed to be anchored with organic resins (epoxy, polyurethane, etc.).

RS TYPE RODS

RS rods are designed to be anchored directly with mortars or cement material, their surface condition offers perfect compatibility and optimum anchorage.

Diameter of rods

TORAY CFE rods are available in a variety of diameters, ranging from 0.5 mm to 30 mm. The majority of our products are available on stock.

Packaging

• length (in-line cutting), according to customer requirements,
• ready-to-use kits,
• larger lengths up to 10 km, packaged on a reel.
